High School Jazz Program
Now in it’s 10th year!!! A program geared to developing young jazz musicians in the areas of Improvisation, Jazz Harmony and Small Combo Performances.
Rehearsals take place Tuesday nights from 7:00pm-9:00pm in Post Hall, Adelphi University Garden City Campus
Activities include:
Combo concerts on campus
Jazz Master Classes featuring guest artists
Special New York City jazz club performance
Participation in regional jazz festivals
Admission to the group is by audition only
There are openings on all instruments!!!!
